How committed I am to keeping a daily food list is uncertain, but I'll give it a try.

Enemy # 1 is late night gorging! Dangerous foods prone to lack moderation currently include corn tortilla chips, pb, and soy milk (I use unsweetened) I seem to have a growing pretzel habit. (white flour, which I other wise avoid mostly) I have no problem entirely avoiding sweeteners like sugar, corn syrup etc.

 

Started the day with Megaflora 14 strain probiotic, a couple spoons of psylium husks in water and a pot of Assam black tea with fresh ginger and a cup of soy milk. Now I'm going to have cinnamon oatmeal with a little margarine, followed by a Manitoba Harvest hemp protein smoothie with a banana, unsweetened cocoa and a cup of soy milk. I also am starting a new multivitamin/mineral, Rainbow Light, "Just Once."

Had a great salad including garden tomatoes and balsamic vinaigrette. A bit later I made humous, which I ate with 3 small ww pita. I'm hoping the earl grey w/fresh ginger and soy milk I'm enjoying will be it for today. Tomorrow I need more vegetables!

Portion control has been very good. I need to work on not lapsing so much time between meals. I'm optimistic about sticking to this for a while. My digestion and metabolism are warming up.

that sounds so yummy!

After I harvest two quart jars of sprouts, I eat it for days in a row. It's incredibly cheap, satiating, nutritious, etc.

Tomorrow will complete 2 weeks on the palette control wagon. I was under 210 this morning! The scale shows bf down to 29.5% the lowest since getting the scale, 13 months ago. I'd jumped to almost 220 when I stopped my heavier weight lifting, as soon as I was finally able to do cardio again (I also have done push ups and weighted crunches) after many months. Certainly my heart and lungs enjoy the change and my knee has continued to heal, especially I believe, because of the strengthening of my legs and the calf that had a sympathetic problem due to months of heavy limping, especially late last year and earlier this one. I know the scale lies based on the stage of elimination of the psylium dosages, salt intake, etc. But, the trend is definitely in the right direction. I'd love to stay at a pace of -5 lbs each week, but I expect it may slow to just a few, which is ok, because it seems I'm in this for the intermediate term at least. I especially look forward to seeing my belt size reduce further, as well as revealing my increased musculature, gained over the last year+. Off with the blubber burqa! I assume I'll have increased energy and less lethargy at a more ideal weight.
