Yeah I know it is 2 hrs but without the weights I just don't feel like I burned off enough energy. I really should have done an extra 30 min this evening....

Yeah I have legs and shoulders tomorrow..... will be babying my shoulder but killin my legs. I can't wait!!! Ready for my mom to get home so she can put this lidocaine patch on my shoulder

I know what you mean by "just" for this girl! 2 hours, that is a long time to exercise (though that is what I have been doing lately too! Except that I do not have energy left to burn!).
What is it that you were training for again? Was it just a race? or a mudder?
Well whatever it is, you are well on your way to kickin its ass!

I was going to train for the Warrior Dash but my knee detests running. I run and I am sidelined. I might be able to jog just a bit but nothing like I was doing. Now I train to lose weight, build large muscles :D and hopefully compete on stage in 2014. I am an all or nothing girl which probably isn't good all the time but I used to be a nothing girl all the time

Looked at today's workout... I see a slight change in the game plan. NO giant sets and probably mix up the raises instead of just doing 3 variations of side raises.... So no leaning side raise or side cable raise. Will probably do regular side raises, front raises and throw in a light military press :) I am just sore on the rear delt now instead of all over my shoulder. If I feel like I am pushing to hard tonight I will stop and do more leg work and let shoulders rest until Saturday and see how they feel

Ok so my shoulder talked to me a bit today at both the gym and work. I didn't push it and did ok. Was talking to a couple I love at the gym and the wife was talking about being in a wet t shirt contest and I said she is the winner cause no one else participated and the husband was pretending to throw water on me and didn't realize the lid wasn't on and actually threw water on me lol! Talk about a cool down fast hahaha. All in all it was a good day.

Cardio: 30 min elliptical (i really didn't even want to do that....)

Legs/shoulders
Box squat: 1 warmup set 65 lbs 10 reps, 1 set 95 lbs 12 reps, 1 set 115 12 reps, 1 set 135 8 reps (mind you I was only
supposed to do 6 reps each set)
Squats 3 sets 95 lbs 12 reps
1 arm shoulder press: 1 warmup set 7.5 lbs 10 reps, 2 sets 10 lbs 10 reps, 1 set 12.5 lbs 10 reps
Side dumbbell raises:2 sets 5 lbs 20
Front raises: 2 sets 5 lbs 20 reps
Standing military press: 2 sets 20 lbs 10 reps
Walking lunges: 2 sets 30 lb body bar 15 reps each leg
Seated leg press: 2 sets 155 lbs 20 reps
Bosu bridge: 2 sets 15 lbs 25 reps

I just couldn't force myself into doing the extra 30 min of cardio so I did the walking lunges, leg press and bridge as extras. Tomorrow I will get my butt to the gym early enough for my calves and abs workout plus cardio before yoga. No snooze for me in the morning.....

In a VERY meatcentric community. Only me and a vegetarian that I know of at this gym.... I walk past a mirror and can't help but stop and check myself out now. I can't believe how skinny I am getting!

Oh and I forgot to mention. I almost went off on an RN today who told me she was on the HCG diet....500 calories and very little nutrients. What a horrible thing to do to your body!! And you would that a nurse of all people would know not to starve the body like that!!!

Bloating oh how do I hate thee!!!!!!!!!!!! Already you have strapped me with 2 lbs of water weight how much more do you plan on making me suffer with for the next week???? Right now a lasixs tablet sounds good so I don't bloat another 5 lbs......

For lunch, you are allowed 100 grams of grilled meat:

Veal
Chicken breast
Shellfish—crab, shrimp, prawns, lobster.
Fresh white fish
Beef—only choose a lean cut such as round roast or London broil and only have beef a maximum of three times in one week

thats ridiculous.

what do u think is bloating u? i wouldnt worry about it too much its just water and not fat...

Oh my monthly visitor.... she bloats me up about 5-8 lbs for a week. I hate taking water pills to lose it cause then I run the risk of dehydration which is never good. Yeah the HCG diet is horrible and I tried to tell her that. I said if anything just eat super clean and go to the gym and workout! But she thinks she knows better than me

Those diets age you faster than anything! A guy at the gym went on some diet, and sure he looks ripped, but his face aged so much! And he lost alot of hair. As a woman, those are two things I value as much as my body!

Yes, I agree that you should not take water pills.

Do you notice if you are taking in extra carbs? or extra sodium? look at your diet. Now that I am not taking bread or pasta in, my monthly doesn't seem to bloat as much. I still need to take in extra carbs, but they are in the form of psuedograins now - millet, quinoa, and buckwheat flour - my newest pancake recipe now.
