More of the same with my training partner this morning. He's really giving me a great workout. It really gets me sweating. :D

I did a slightly faster than I've been lately 5k run this morning. I can't find my watch so I didn't time it, but it was probably around 27-28 minutes and would have been faster if I didn't get stopped at a few sets of lights.

This morning I went for a run with my training partner. Not sure how far we went or how long we were running. It was nice. :P

Today is my scheduled rest day, but I have so much nervous energy to burn that I'm going for a run anyway. Maybe just 4k. It's probably not a good idea for me to do 5-6 days in a row, but oh well. I'm going stir-crazy at the moment.

This morning I ran 10.6 km in exactly one hour, in the rain. It was a good run.

I just did 7k in about 39 minutes. That's faster than I've been going lately, and I didn't even realize it. I guess it must be frustration driving me to go faster. Maybe I actually WILL get fast! :)

Split times were:

1k: 5:20
2k: 10:30
3k: 15:45
4k: 20:30 (4:45!!)
5k: 25:40

Reporting in from whitby ON. :)

I took thursday and Friday off. Saturday I did a 5-6k run along Lake Ontario, and then today I did about 11k on the same path. Today it was about 30 degrees C out which was challenging.

I know you will! Great progress - and it seems your training partner is building your confidence as well!

Just did 5.5k this morning at a medium tempo (5:30ish). I forgot to start my stop watch until part of the way in.
