workout rituals

So does anyone have any specific ritual before you go to the gym? Also include after if you like. Do you get worked up into some mood, maybe you like to eat at a specific interval before you go. Tell of anything you do to have a good and effective time at the gym. If you dont go to a gym just substitute going to workout, or whatever fits your situation.

Let me start this one off...

My ritual is to fill up my water bottle, and I get my i.d. card and keys in my pocket and before I leave my room I make sure they are still in my pocket. I also take the time before I head out to change mp3's on the player, change (rechargable) batteries in it if needed. I usually use my window sill to put my feet on so I can tie my shoes. I also like to leave after I've been doing some intensive studying or as of recently filling out various application forms and writing essays. When I return from my workout/gym I usually read these forums, take a vitamin then shower before or after I have a protein shake, and always a banana or two.

When I workout I always walk/pace in a circle around the wieghts I'm using at the same time I stare out the wieghts!!:twisted: it's an intimidation thing! :evil:

wake up...play 30 seconds of some random three six mafia track. walk to the gym...hopefully spit on a small child on the way there.

Not really.
Although of course i pack my bag before each workout :P

And every now and then i like to warm up by beating the *§$%& out of an asshole who spat on a small child in front of the gym ;)
