How do you guys feel after a workout and what helps you recover?

What helps you recover? You can do heat therapy and cryotherapy for one. Also deep tissue massages (Rob should know that one :wink: ).

I always feel good during and shortly after working out but the day after... I feel like a train just hit me. Drinking water helps me recover :wink:

If you sue a heating pad, make sure you put some ice or cold water if in a shower after. About 10 to 15 minutes for each application of heat as well as ice. Don't finish it off with the heat, but with the cold because you may have swelling due to the heat, which the ice brings down.

I feel great after a workout, especially a leg workout. like nothing can touch me. I feel so warm, happy, and accomplished.
I eat a lot when I get back and rest for the night. or I like to play guitar or scream along to cds.

After today's workout, the only things that can save me are food and a nap. I don't think I'll make it without these things!
