Bigbwii
I'm looking into somehow changing my routine because I'm sick of depending on equipment or a training partner, I really love the idea of just getting out and doing your thing! I know Will does a lot of body wieght stuff but does anybody else have any experience with doing this and have you made gains!
AllIveEverTouched
When I first began exercising I circuit trained using only my body weight. I did see some improvement but I don't know for sure if this was just due to beginning exercising or because of the training itself. It was from an article in the Winter '01 issue of MH-18 magazine: Start by jogging for 45 seconds (I would do this in place) then drop into exercise 1 doing as many as you can in 45 seconds. Then jog again for 45 seconds and move onto exercise 2 for 45 seconds, etc. When finished with all the exercises do the entire thing over a second time. If this is your only work out do it 4-5 times a week, if not replace 2 of your other workouts with this routine. 1. Wide Arm Press-Ups 2. Crunches 3. Lunges 4. Triceps Press-Ups (Close arms elbows in) 5. Frog Sit-Ups (Butterfly your legs and reach between them to touch your feet) 6. Squat Thrusts 7. Diamond Press-Ups (90 degree legs with thumbs and index fingers touching to make a diamond with your hands. Let your chest touch the ground) 8. Alternate Knee Sit-Ups 9. Star Jumps 10. Sprints

Jay
Gynmastics. A lot of them look better than bodybuilders. There are some sites online that go into some of their training. Like beastskills.com http://beastskills.com/tutorials.htm It takes phenomenal strength to do things like a planck, iron cross, dips on rings, front levers, reverse levers, maltese.... handstand pushups, http://www.dragondoor.com/articler/mode3/152 muscle upshttp://www.powerathletesmag.com/pages/muscleup.htm one arm chin/pullupshttp://www.dragondoor.com/jallstadt.html(I have a lot of links on one arm chins.) Also you can do pistols for legs, etc.
AllIveEverTouched
Bigbwii: Yeah you're supposed to do as many as you can in 45 seconds and then alternate to jogging for 45 seconds and back to the next exercise for 45 seconds. Reading back over it it looks like a routine I'd might want to try sometime again.
