I do them from time to time - I ought to do them more often really.
Davey's favourite tipple was "Blow My Skull", a cocktail he served in half-pint glasses consisting of rum, brandy, gin, port, Madeira, sherry and claret.

I hear ya Will, do you add wieghts? I made a Dipping/chins belt out of a long piece of chain and a snapper lock from home depot! so I can add wieghts to my dips and chins, I think the whole thing cost me $3 for the snapper lock thingy, I just started doing pull ups too!

Good idea I should make one, if it's only 3 bucks I have no excuse not too.

I've never tried with a belt, but sometimes my son hangs off my leg while I do them!

Do you ever get bruises or burns from wearing the chain?

I just found some rope in my garage that I'm guessing could hold at least 100 lbs. I'm thinking I can tie it off and use that. Now all I need are some weights!

With a chinup you get more biceps work and less back work. What back work you get is more thickness and less width. Opposite with pullups and the wider you put your hands on pullups the less thickness and more width up high. With mixed grip you just get the results of a pullup on one hand and a chinup on the other.

Hi Will, no I don't get any bruises and when it gets heavy I just tie a sweater around my waist! I wear the chain the same way I would wear the dipping belt!
