Incline ab boards

#1 Postby FormicaLinoleum » Sat Jan 14, 2006 5:07 pm

I am thinking about getting an incline ab board for home. Like this:

Any opinions? Is something like this actually useful for training abs, or would I be better off with something else or even just doing plain old crunches with no equipment.

Ideally I would like something that's like a combo ab board and hyperexension thingy, but I'm trying not to spend too much money (or take up too much valuable apt space.)

I like ab rollers, and their equivalents, and they're small too

abb board hyper extension combos are hard to get hold of, plus if you plan on doing weighted hypers then most combos cant handle to much weight.

I had a abb board but the resistence soon becomes to low, if you going to get one; you may as well get one that can go to a very high incline. I think body solid do one like that.

I got tired of doing weighted inclines and bought some gravity boots a few months back, ive never looked back.

Incline ab boards are awesome! If you get one I'm jealous

My favorite ab exercise is to do situps on an incline board with a dumbbell behind my head

I don't know about anyone else here but I was able to find most of my equip in those buy and sell newspapers. A lot of people seem to buy w/o stuff, use it a few times and then let it sit before selling it.
