This guy is great. Lots of nonsense in between the sets, but his enthusiasm is epic. And that last rep for 505 is just great.

LOL i wouldnt trust this guy - he only eats twice a day - two big means one at ten am and one at 6pm..

James was one bad-ass bencher, no doubt about it! I think one of the only guys I saw clips of who came close on raw power was Nick Winters (RIP). If I'm not mistaken, James used to bench with great frequency, as did Jim Williams, both of who had some of the most impressive raw benches that ever existed.

Amazing strength and an amazing achievement. Not something I'd aspire to (when I see guys this big my thought is always the same--'your poor heart') but you can't doubt the tenacity and commitment. Have to respect it.

Did you not notice that he incline benched 505 lbs? This was at the end of a workout after flat benching 600 lbs for 3 and close-grip benching 500 lbs...

That is pretty impressive, but at the same time he weighs probably 400 pounds. Is he still around?
