Anyone knows if chalk is always vegan?

Thanks!

Gymnastics/climbing/weightlifting chalk is simply magnesium carbonate - so yes always vegan.

Thanks but I've heard that magnesium carbonate is sometimes derived from oyster shells, you know if there is any truth to that?

Never heard that to be honest. I wouldn't sweat it personally, just use the stuff.

Thanks man. You're probably right, I shouldn't sweat it but I'm really strict with being totally sure that everything I buy is vegan. I'm going to search for more info on this.
