just starting out

hi, just started training a couple of weeks ago, no seriouse gains yet, im six foot 80kilos, how long do you guys think ill start making serious gains? im training hard 3 times a week

What do you mean by "serious gains"?
Specifically, you should have a goal.
Like is it to 'look' more muscular?
Add 5lbs of muscle mass to your body?
Is it to get a rock hard six pack of abs?
Each of these goals has a different approach to them in working out.

sorry to be vague, my ultimate goal is to get hard and lean, not particularly big, kinda like tyler durden in fight club

Gains come in time. As long as your lifting more weight progressively and eating enough to gain weight, then you'll gain muscle.

i dont want to get weighed down with calorie counting, but around how many should i eat in a day? or should i just fill my boots? i only eat good quality whole foods

Thanks petitpois, really appreciate the info, so glad I found this place, I don't know anyone else who lifts weights let alone is vegan
