Congratulations Robbie!

I agree, some of the BEST photos I've seen of Robbie! He looks like a shredded beast!

Sweet, I'll send him a message later on. He's had a very busy summer with lots of contests, great to see him taking 2nd and in great condition!

Robbie!

Great to have you here! Looking awesome brother!

I'd love to get you featured on the front page of the site.....something I should have done a long time ago!

Again, glad to have you here, I'm sure many people know who you are, for those who don't, please give yourself and intro on the introductions page and links to www.veganbodybuilding.org where you are the featured.

Robbie is one of our Vegan Bodybuilding Iron Warriors. In the game way longer than me, or Daywalker, or anyone else that I can think of.

Catch you on here again soon.

-Robert

I've been lifting 16 years and I really don't think you need 400 grams of protein a day. Unless maybe something magical happens when you make the step from 300 to 400. (I've never tried 400.) Anyway though great job on the contest Robbie.

I've never tried 400 either. I think 350 is my max, maybe some random days I've had near 400, but I used to stick around 300 exactly and have dropped down since then. Now I'm more 200-240 range. Mostly because of my lifestyle schedule, I can't eat much as I'd like. But I don't think you really need much more than 300, if even that.

But I do think it works a bit better for some than others. I know a huge dude, who has been training for 17 years and only takes in 240 a day and benches around 400 pounds and weights around 220. Maybe he took in a lot more previously, I'd have to ask him.

Either way, it seems to work for Robbie and he looked great at the last contest. He competes more than most, multiple times per year so I imagine that is quite stressful on the body as well.

All this talk of protein makes me hungry, I better got eat!
