That is a snatch, not a clean. Those kind of injuries seem to happen every now and then at top level lifting, but I hear they usually heal pretty well.
Awful to watch for sure.

Ouch!

And yeah, it's a snatch. Also he popped it out of the joint and ripped some connective tissues. When I initially read "snaps" I thought bone. Still sucks.

I saw this happen, while I was at the gym no less! I was watching the lifting, not paying all that much attention until that happened and I just thought "Oh crap, that's not the way an arm should look..."

What sport should bocome an olympic sport? Some sports, highly competitive and with a lot of fans are, still, not part of the Olympic Games. In your opinion, what sport or sports should become olympic? And why?
