Does anyone have a good suggestion for a non-leather style of headgear that protects the nose well? I take Combat Hapkido where we also have a kickboxing sparring class a few nights a week. In December I got my nose/eye socket broken in 3 places by a heel kick because I dropped my guard and was wearing the POS basic headgear they sell at Dicks. My sensei recommends a kind of headgear that comes out past the nose but, of course, its leather.

I found a site for fairtex gear that you can email the company and have them make a custom headguard out of synthetic material but i cant find the site it was on.
