List the different workout/fitness/strength routines

#1 Postby katz » Tue Oct 05, 2010 5:21 pm

I thought this would be a neat idea, to list as many of the routines as you can think of. I will start off with a few.

It will make for a quick reference for those of us who are looking for a program but are unsure of all that is out there.

Also, add a description if it will require additional equipment to perform, i.e., resistance bands, weights, etc.

Please feel free to add any/all you can think of.

1. Insanity
2. P90X - resistance bands, dumbbells, pull up bar
3. Doggcrapp training - Barbell/dumbbells

I have made it a habit to get back into the mindset that every workout is war. All-out, 100% do-it-or-die-trying war. If you want to get bigger and/or stronger, lifting won't be fun most days.

I will post bodyrock.tv here as if I haven't been bringing it up so much already. :P

It's good for anyone who is looking for free, time effecient, and effective workouts. There are modifications for nearly every exercise so you can make it harder or easier depending on your needs.

I may have a go at bodyrock after finishing my second round of Insanity, as I am on month four now. Zuzana has incredible abs & muscle tone, wow!

Stronglifts and Madcow 5x5 come to mind. Barbells/dumbbells for both...

Haha yeah I know she's taken... and I am too. xD
I've heard more than a few people say they were either doing P90x or Insanity before Bodyrock, and Bodyrock gave them better results. Definitely worth trying.

Also there are some rather painful, free pilates workouts here: http://www.youtube.com/user/blogilates
I obviously avoid spending money.
