macrobiotic diet helped me to loose weight, before I started with physical activities. It is also very easy to follow, if you do not obsess to much with yin and yang stuff. Just follow simple rules: cooked whole grains, vegetables, beans, nuts, seeds, fruits. You can eat as much as you like, and you will loose weight, without being hungry. Of course, since you are vegan, you will not eat fish, which is allowed in small quantities in macrobiotic diet, mostly for men.
