Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness

Although I love some of the articles, and have learn a lot about Strength Training and what not, I got to say that this magazine (as well as many mainstream fitness related things) is very biased towards vegetarians/vegans. Especially when it comes to soy. Anyone else notice this?

I think you mean biased against vegans, and yes that's very true. But, I mean, it's a steroid mag so how much can you expect?

Ditto. It's probably mostly because of funding. They have no reason to actually despise or want to prevent vegan bodybuilding... unless of course there's money involved.

Don't know much of bodybuilding mags that are biased TOWARDS vegans. It's basically mainstream for chicken, eggs and steak.

Fitness magazines, for the most part, are just fodder to promote products, supplements, and fads so that writers/magazines can make money. Which is why I don't read any of them - I just follow writers/bloggers/people who have proven themselves as legitimate athletes with the results (either in physique or competitions) that prove they know what they're talking about.

Muscle and Fitness Hers did a poll, happy to say, reporting that 15% of their readers were vegetarian and 10% were vegan--that's 25% in total!!

They're pretty friendly towards vegan diets and include recipes for us every now and again. Makes me happy.
