At the moment I am trying to reduce bodyfat, but still keep my muscle, so it is actually a little higher than I would normally eat for weight loss.
Even during a Heavy Bulking phase, I rarely go above 3000 Calories a day.
I am one of those people who needs to watch what they eat, every day of their life.
I don't have a skinny person inside me struggling to get out, I have a big, fat fatty inside me screaming to get out.
I can eat a lot when I want to, I just can't.
Me too. Basal calculators tell me I should be eating around 2800 calories a day. I can gain weight on 2,000 calories a day if I don't work out. However, in the summer when I hike a lot, I can consume over 4,000 calories a day and maintain my weigh. But that is hiking 16-20 miles in a day.
I used to weigh 240. Now I am down to 165. Eating mostly raw really helped me this last year. I was 195 last January.
Nothing against anyone on this site, but there are quite a few Hard Gainers here, would don't quite understand what it is like to put on weight, eating a minimal amount of food.
So Yeah, thanks for the comments, glad to see I'm not the only one.
I've tried raw for a few months, but I just lost too much muscle mass, which when you play Rugby isn't good.
Getting tested for a Insulin Intolerance in the next few weeks, so I'll be interested to see the results... A Doctor suggested it when he saw how well I eat and how much exercise I do.
