Ryan's Fitness Journey progress

Hello all :) In september 2009 I made a bet with a friend for $100 that I would have a six pack by june, and I'm determined to get it.
Progress so far

March 2009- started riding bike - Stats 5'11 245lbs (my heavyest)
July 2009- cut out all junk food, and all beverages except water and milk - stats 220lbs
Sept 2nd 2009- went vegetarian - stats 205lbs
Nov 6th 2009- went strict vegan - stats 200lbs
Dec 15th 2009 (now) vegan for a month - stats 186lbs waist 39inchs

I will be posting progress photos and stats every week until I'am happy with my body.

Cool bet!
You should get into lifting, deads and squats. And I hope you do ab excersises like weighted crunches, rollouts etc.

Congrats on the progress! Mind if I ask, are you being vegan just for this weight-loss test, or did the vegan change happen to occur during this process?

It occured during the process. I started eating healthier and healthier until I didn't think I could eat any healthier. Then I did some research on food and found "meet your meat". I actually cried, I went vegetarian for a month and still felt guilty for consuming milk,cheese etc. So I went vegan.
It has been one of, if not the best thing I have done in my life :)

I'll be a vegan for the rest of my life, even after all the weight is gone :)

Awesome! Well if you ever get down about the change (happens to new vegans) or if you just want recipe or exercising ideas, make sure you ask around here. We have some good people!

Its been a while, got really busy with other things.

Started playing with weights about 2 weeks ago.

weight 185

Just a quick update, i'm sorry ihaven't had any progress photos up, i haven't really made any in the last little bit, i started smoking again and haven't had any energy to workout :( :( , thats ending today though soo as soon as i detox a bit and start working out again i'll post some new pics :)
