I learned a lot of these way back as a teenager in modeling classes and believe me, they work. You can practice on yourself when you take your progress photos so when the time comes for pro shots, you'll be amazing!





Another way to prevent the dreaded double chin, especially if you're going to be photographed in three-quarter or profile, is to press the back of your tongue up against the roof of your mouth. Do it far enough back that you can just start to feel your windpipe closing off a little, but no more. Go stand in front of a mirror and do this over and over. You'll see any potential double chin reduced by half.
