Figured I should start one of these 'cuz why the hell not?

So this is me 5 years ago, just starting out. Should be 60-64 kg of bw (132 lbs - 141 lbs)

Early 2011. The bulk is strong in this one. Maybe around 82 kg (180 lbs). Reached 87 kg (191 lbs) later that year.

2012 I decided that I still sucked, started to diet down and then built some actual muscle. This could be at 78-82 kg (171-180 lbs)

These were made earlier this year. About the same weight.

And these today. Usually between 79 and 80 kg (174-176 lbs).

Plan is to cut for three weeks beginning next week to reach 74 kg (163 lbs) upon weigh in one last time (IPF national records on the line, so actually worth the effort) and after that not restrict my food intake at all. I'll just eat whenever I'm hungry and train so much that I cannot gain any more fat (worked before). I will compete in the 83 kg (182 lbs) IPF division next year, so I could probably get up to an absolute max of 88 kg (194 lbs), if creatine (which I stop taking 2 weeks out from a comp) accounts for 2 kilos and dehydration will shed another 3 kilos max (I think with 3 kilos less water I would still kinda work). So a LOT of room for improvement. Let's see how it goes.

Watermelon? Nice idea for the end of off-season!

Figured I should post my new pics here, too.

The bulk seems to be going well, though my waistline is suffering somewhat. I am most impressed by how fast my chesticles are catching up. Still a weakness but getting there.

Haha, thanks, I didn't even really train them until recently. At some point they just started groing. I blame heavy deadlifts.

you are in vegan strength germany right? saw you few times with that crew at the vegan fest at alexanderplatz

Yup, that'd be me. I am usually the guy you'll see in every one of our events. Someone has to do it, you know ^^

And also it's nice to be given a stage to show off

Thanks

About the shirts: I think we are mostly out (you mean the gorilla ones, right?) but I'll ask.

We will get new ones at some point but we didn't yet decide when that'll be.

Haven't got a progress pic atm but I can tell you, I feel so fat! xD

Probably still got the same bw but neglected abs for some time and may have lost some leg size that went into chesticle and powerbelly weight

Rethought my plans. I now think that I'll bulk slowly until the end of the year and then cut a bit, so I'll not outgrow my weight class.

This year's halloween won't have the best posing pics though, btw. BF and me agreed to go as Khal Drogo and Khalessi. Let's just say that I am not the one wearing the beard

And planning on keeping it that way

Vegan Strength founding member got married this past saturday. Had vegan buffet bulk of the gods. Seems like my stomach was full, so the extra carbs went into those muscles. This was after half a day of binge eating just before sleep:

why is my head this huge?

Beast. May I ask what you what your diet looks like?

Thanks man. Sure:

When I see food, I eat it.

I don't count calories anymore but my intake should range from 2500 to 4000. I eat when I'm hungry and don't when I'm not. Very little fruit and greens because I cannot afford those (as a uni student in Germany I actually have less money than people living off the state ^^ ), mostly pasta, muesli, peanuts and one or two cheat meals per day. I'm a lazy bastard and can't be bothered to do anything creative in the kitchen. Other than that I'll have the occasional protein shake just to be sure.

In short: food when hungry. Simple stuff with enough calories. 1 shake a day. 1 or 2 cheat meals per day.

So I wanted to gain mass and just get strong no matter how fat I would get.

No dietary restrictions, just eat whenever hungry etc.

Well, just had a few very hard lower body sessions and it seems like the 4-6 pack is back.

Not really complaining but this was unexpected
