Thank you so much. I needed to hear something nice today.

I was vegan when I was heavier, but a junk food vegan. I didn't grow up eating fruits and vegetables so it took me a long time to figure out how to incorporate them into my diet. so when I first went vegan, I was all about the desserts.

I have been keeping a food log for the past few weeks that is pretty thorough regarding what my diet is like now.

I haven't been on here in a while so I'm just seeing some of the newer comments now. Thanks everyone.
Thanks! I'm trying to reverse age myself.
Not much change physically for me in the past six months. I'm mostly trying to maintain my achievements. I have some plans for my arms, abs and legs though.

Diet plan?
This is really inspiring!!
I know you posted it before, but can you repost your diet plan/fitness routine?
I get so confused about what to eat in the morning before and after exercise.. you seem to have gotten it right..

Laila, I'm fairly unregimented. I try to run at least 40 km a week. I'm happiest when I'm above 50. That usually takes the form of a weekend long run (15km+) and a few shorter runs throughout the week. I spend 25 minutes a day stretching, to keep me healthy for the running. I do an upper body and lower body strengthening routine 2-3 times a week each. I just recently started on the arms again in the past week. Upper uses weights, lower is just body weight at the moment. I don't like to push my legs too much because then they are too sore to run.
I used to do yoga regularly, but not as much now. I keep saying I want to get back in to it, but time is eluding me.
As for diet, I go against the usual recommendations for the morning. I eat a bowl of granola and rice dream, and I usually have decaf coffee or tea. It's actually a pretty terrible way to start the day nutrition-wise, but I have eaten cereal for breakfast as long as I remember and just can't stomach fruit or anything else. As for after, the first thing I'll usually eat is a Clif bar or my green smoothie. I did keep a food blog for a while, but I stopped updating it because I didn't feel like it, and it wasn't generating any interest anyway. viewtopic.php?t=8735
Here are a couple pics taken this morning. I"ve been maintaining more than anything, as well as coming back from a minor injury, but I think I've made a bit of progress in some areas.
