To help sort things out some, I created this forum to make it easier for me to find issues.

As of right now, I believe the following issue is still pending:

- avatar's not being saved locally.

Please add any other issues you find to this thread. Thanks and I'll get to each issue as they appear and depending on the complexity (some issues may take longer than others to address).

I just checked out the recently joined members, it looks like spammers have been chokeslammed through three burning tables.

We can even look through the member list with little spam....10,000 spam members were DDT'd! We still have about 4,000 of them but those can probably be removed in due time.

Actually, there is a nice feature that will easily remove all users who have no posts from a certain date back.

Oh cool..........although we do have members who take a full year off and then come back and continue to post.....is there any way to delete members with 0 posts ?

Yup. We can specify the number of posts or lack thereof

This is only an issue with one topic, but when I try to respond to the "Poetry Topic" in the Entertainment section, I get a blank screen and my post doesn't attach to the thread. This is the URL it sends me to:

I noticed that if you post a URL, the edit your post, phpBB2 will add javascript in the hyperlink to open it in a new window.......breaking the link. If that is a setting please consider turning it off

I noticed that when I copy and paste something, it won't post, just goes to a white screen. So I have to hand type it out and then it works.

Give that a try. It is a pain, and maybe there is a way to fix it.

So far the new version is pretty fun and lots of new members now that we're not having to decide who is real and who is spam and denying tons of real potential members!

No go. I am doing a copy and paste for both of my problems, which Robert says isn't working for him, so that must be what is causing the error.

Ah yes. BTW, are you copying and pasting from Word or from Notepad? If it's Word, can you paste it into notepad and then try copying and pasting into the message? The reason I ask this is that I was able to copy this message into notepad and the paste it into here. I suspect word is adding additional formatting info and that is what is causing problems.

I just tried recopying and pasting the way you said. It still isn't working. I wonder if my computer is just being stupid, seeing as doing so worked for you and Robert.

Try typing what you want to say in Notepad by itself (and use Notepad not wordpad) and let me know if that works. I wonder if the copy was still from Word.
