Yeah yeah, it's just strange. Oddly the email dates are correct. The notification for your reply shows up as 18:10:15 -0500 but the forum sees it as 7:10pm.

It's probably going to be right in about two-weeks. Did you unset daylight savings in your panel?

Go to User Control Panel --> Board Preferences --> Look for Summer Time/DST is in effect: and set that to no (since it's not summer in EST)

Hit Submit and when done, should be at the right time.

That was it SyrLinus, thanks. I read that option as enabling automatic DST shifting (EST5EDT instead of EST). I didn't realize that was a fully manual toggle.
