#1 Postby compassionategirl » Thu Jan 12, 2006 12:18 am

Apparently, wild rice has more protein but less calcium and iron than brown rice.

I hate brown rice. I much prefer the taste of wild rice.

in case anybody was dying to know my rice preferences :P

I've never had wild rice, do they sell it at typical grocery stores like krogers?

They do, but it comes in rather expensive small packages. Buy in bulk from someplace like Whole Foods, and you can get like 1lb for $6 instead of 8oz for $4.99
