michael
ORAC=Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity It's becoming common knowledge that certain fruits (blueberries, strawberries, blackberries) have some of the highest and most potent anti-oxidant levels. Recently too, we've been hearing more and more about Tahitian noni, mangosteen and goji berry as having high ORAC levels--but they are unfortunately exorbitant in price. But did you know that clove oil has the highest ORAC levels of any food ever tested?--the units are in the millions, wheras the level of mangosteen, for example, measures in the thousands only! Free radical levels, which increases with exercise activity and environmental toxin exposure, is regarded as one of the leading causes of premature aging. Taking something as simple as a drop or two daily of clove oil (equivalent to 2 or more cups of blueberries) may be a simple method for retarding the aging process.
