best for metabolizing food. I didn't just read it, I do it. When I can reproduce a scientific claim in my own experience that's true enough for me.

See thats just not true. Frequent small meals spike metabolism by a small amount, large meals spike metabolism by an equally large amount. If I wasn't on my phone I would find a link to a study to back it up.

It's all about the individual and what works best for them - both in terms of how their body responds and their life in general. Some people don't have the ability (because of a job or their lifestyle) to eat ever 2-3 hours and, conversely, not everyone finds eating 2-3 bigger meals a day to be bearable - it's all about what fits into their schedule and works best for them. And I think we all agree on that point.
