FBWSTX
Hello, I am looking for a recommendation of a sports nutritionist in Austin, TX. I am training for my first Half marathon as a vegan and do not feel I am eating the right amount of protein or for recovery. Thank you, Kim
C.O.
I don't know any licensed sports nutritionists in Austin but Robert Cheeke the founder of this forum lives in Austin now. Shoot him a private message on here I'm sure he can help you with the recovery info that you are looking for. -Dylan
FBWSTX
Thank you. However, I am looking for a licensed nutritionist who can make a full meal plan and ensure I am receiving the correct nutrition.
Iron Clad Ben
You don't think you're getting enough protein? How much protein are you eating vs. how much do you think is enough? I've run several half-marathons as a vegan and haven't had a problem. Here is a great guide for training for a half as a vegan/vegetarian: http://www.nomeatathlete.com/half-marathon-roadmap/ Here is a recommendation for a nutritionist in Austin who might be able to help:http://discoveroptimalhealth.com/
