Vegan Bodybuilding & Fitness

I am fairly new to veganism and i do a lot of lifting and running..I did however have an eating disorder in the past and i really have trouble with calories and enough food intake in the day..any suggestions on how to get enough calories? Or anyone ever have an ED and have tips? Thanks, Tyler Whitfield

Shakes can help with calories, Vega, Plant Fusion, and Sun Warrior are all good. I like to add fruit and almond milk or coconut or rice or hemp or soy to mine.
You can always search online for a table of how many calories foods have and try to eat foods that have higher amounts of calories if eating large amounts is difficult for you.

I make these high calorie bean shakes, they actually taste really good.

I mix:
1 can rinsed black beans
1 banana
2 tbsp peanut or almond butter
1/4 cup oepitas
2 tsp Spirulina
1 scoop plant fusion (chocolate)

Roughly 1000 calories & 63g protein. they work great for me!

Dan, what about red beans or mung beans? Ever tried either of those in your shakes? Thanks for posting I'm going to do some shakes-periments.
