Is it better to take the supplement with food...like most people say or would it be better to take it on an empty stomach for better absorbtion?

With food, to make sure your body treats it the same as it treats the food, and absorbs it (though I'm beginning to doubt the absorbability of synthetic vitamins/minerals). If you take it separately from food, your body has to deal with a chunk of compressed matter that doesn't resemble food.
