Do you eat "clean"? How do you define clean foods?
I've found that on the majority of bodybuilding/figure competition forums, there is a huge emphasis on clean eating and the impact of it on achieving results.
Personally, I try to get most of my calories from unprocessed foods, like oatmeal, tofu, tempeh, natural pb, sprouted grain breads, vegetable oils, veggies, some fruit and protein powder supplements.
Of course, it's not always easy to do in the real world, but I almost always avoid protein bars, very processed soy (i.e. soyburgers), sugar and refined wheat products.
