Need help finding a nutrition plan

I will be starting Jamie Eason's LiveFit Trainer program on Monday, but her meal plan isn't vegan! I don't know what to buy this weekend to prepare for the trip.

I should also mention I'm kind of new at this vegan thing, and I really want to make it work (for many reasons). It's been hard getting on track because my husband isn't interested in making the move to being vegan-- but he is really supportive and will eat whatever I put in front of him, and now actually requests some vegan meals :)

PLEASE HELP! I don't want to go back to eating the S.A.D.!! I saw that Torres had a 3-part outline to eating vegan, but I can't find part 2 on the website...

And... Do you count calories, or portion sizes, or just 'go with the flow'. After reading 'The China Study' I didn't feel compelled to count cals or portion sizes-- is that ok?

I thought the best book, when I began veganism, was "Being Vegan". Really helped me put together a good nutrition plan for myself. Like any nutrition plan it must be based on individual need.

I can't find the book you mentioned. I found a lot of books entitled: "Becoming Vegan". Is this the book you're referring to?

Thanks :)

After watching Forks Over Knives I was interested in the research from Dr. John McDougall, who provides a free program on his website. You might check it and get some ideas as to how he lays out his starch based way of eating. His book, The McDougall Program: 12 Days to Dynamic Health got me on the right track and best part was I was never hungry.

I would guess Jamie follows the typical bodybuilding diet of 40%protein, 40%carbs, 20%fat if this is the case its not that hard to do vegan. Supstatute tofu, tempeh, wheat gluten for the meats lots of faux meats too you can get and get a vegan protein powder. Some version of rice and pea search the threads there are a few on this.
