1who_smiles
Hello Vegan brothers and sisters! I'm new on this forum, checking out the different topics and threads. I want to make new friends, centre myself in this virtual environment and learn. My shallow ego says "I joined because I wanted to ask a few questions about juice fasting!". I've been weight training for half a year, seeing some results like toning and not much muscle mass. I'm planning a juice fast to shed the final layers of jelly. I'm concerned about food costs, protein and nutrition. Nutrition is the biggest concern because I'm thinking about watering down my juices to save money. Does anybody think this is a bad idea? How do you maintain muscle mass while on a juice fast? Love and light :0)
muchidna
personally it sounds like one of those fad diets, i'm not sure though, my thoughts are juice only diet would be high in sugars, carbs, very low in fats and protein and i don't know what sort of benefits it would have over a conventional diet anyway if it were me, i would just eat normally and make sure i'm in a caloric deficit
