Alykat
Has increasing protein, from a low protein diet, lead to any bowel issues (constipation, straining, etc)? or was their no diff.. Or maybe the need to go less often but not hard to pass? I've been a raw food vegan for 8 yrs. (only fruit and veg, no nuts). I've done this bc I had bowel surgery and have to be extremely careful not to strain. I need to start eating protein though. Any tips and experience to share with me please? C.O.
I haven't heard that being an issue with vegan protein. You can get enough protein ever raw if you want to stay raw. Either way if you are eating whole foods that are plant based you'll be getting the fiber you need to keep you regular.
