candy bar pre workout

Is it ok to eat a candy bar pre or post workout? Which is better? If pre,the sugar will give energy...if post, it will be good for my logic right?

post workout would be the best, pre will give you some energy but post it will have more benefits such as restoring glycogen and if eaten with some protein it can help to body to get the protein to the muscles quicker, meaning better recovery :D
