A few concerns

G'day and good afternoon

I've been vegan for just over 3 months now, I have been doing intermittent fasting 16/8 for about 2 of those months. I'm not doing the fast to loose weight but for hormonal affects (though I'm unsure I actually see any difference)

 

Firstly, what are people thoughts on fasting over non fasting? And it's benefits etc.

 

Secondly, I want to go as wholefood as I can, I feel as if powders aren't the answer to everything,

I currently take BCAAs (during fast and workouts)

pea protein and creatine before workout (if it's not during my fast)

And obviously multivitamin.

I mainly want to cut out the protein powder which would require a pre or post meal with extra protein, I was thinking scrambled tofu or something? Though tofu is quiet processed and I'm not really a fan of it.

 

My last question is, what is everyones take on joint supplement, as years of weight training, HIIT, and every other exercise puts strains on joints and ligaments, anyone have advice on this topic?

 

I feel as though, supplements have to be intergratted into diet plan, though I know they don't.
