Can anyone say if glucosamine derived from corn is equivalent in quality and function to that of glucosamine derived from shellfish. A doctor (yeah them again) has tolda friend of mine to stick with the shellfish kind. So we are wondering if its been proven to be more effective or if this is just bias on the doctors part.
I doubt anyone would know which is better...I don't think people have been taking the veggie form long enough to see its benifits

I have used glucosamine numerous times growing up and breaking bones a lot.
The one derived from Corn works well. I broke my ankle when I lived at Roberts apartment, and used vegan glucosamine, and the stuff worked well.
