Did you lose, or gained weight? ( When you became a Vegan )

When you first became vegan, did you lose or gained weight?
After the whole ''detoxification'' process did you gained some extra pounds back? Or kept with the same weight?


In my case i lost a lot, and a ''year later'' i was thin, then after some thin time, i started gaining my weight back, is that part of the detoxification process? :lol:

I didn't lose weight, but lost a fair bit of toxic flab.
I eat more now also, and I haven't been gaining more flab.

I was eating apples, salad, wheat bread and OJ for the most part after going vegan, running a few miles every morning at 4 am and went from 180 to 165 really quickly. That's what got me started on weight lifting.

I stayed the same weight for a few years. Then gained about 40 pounds after I started strength training

My weight stayed the same...I think I gained maybe 5 lbs going vegetarian but that lasted about 2 weeks before I went vegan...after that I maintained my weight but got alot stonger which leads me to believe I melted alot of fat away and put on more muscle mass

I stayed the same weight really, recently I put a bit more on from sitting around a lot. But for about 5 or 6 years of being vegan, I was the same weight.

I lost about 20 pounds after becoming vegan. Since then I have gained that back and a bit more after going through a bad bout of depression, but I'm working on getting rid of it now.

I lost about 5-8 pounds at first (7 months ago). But within the last two months I have gained it back. It's taken some work, but it's coming. We'll see where we can get to.

Lost a little, but then found it easier to maintain once I figured out the volume and type of healthy food I needed to eat.

I lost 45lbs of bodyfat in 8 months. My arse go to skinny, but Deep Squats and DL took care of that. :lol:

I lost a good deal of weight when I became vegan five years ago. Then, I put on some weight, and now it's coming back off. My weight has always fluctuated throughout my life though. I was the token "fat kid" of my friends through elementary and middle school. :oops: :cry:

I have stayed the same weight, but my bodyfat percentage has went down.
