Just a question, would you guys like me to analyze different supplements on the market? If so, give me a couple and I will take care of them.

I took ZMA a few years ago and it seemed like a nice boost. I'm thinking of trying it again. Any thoughts on this product, how it works, if it works, food sources for the same effect?

Nitric Oxide seems to be getting a lot of hype in the marketplace. Is this stuff worth trying or just another moneymaker?

Currently the only sups I use are creatine, rice protein and glucosamine.

Hi mate,

Nitric oxide is the newest thing that everyone is talking about. Nitric oxide is made of the amino acid L-arginine which is broken down. Nitric oxide has a vast array of benefits for the body however one that always stands out is that it helps with blood regulation. It helps even with penile dysfunction and Viagra, which is used in these cases, includes nitric oxide.

I can say from a personal experience that it does have that pump feeling. My friend that is on it showed me his results from taking nitric oxide. In less than a month his biceps where almost rock hard, due to the pump of the blood in his system. He also has more endurance while in the gym, almost like creatine. Although there is little strength gains, there are gains in lean body mass.

If you want more info, like other things that Nitric Oxide contributes too feel free to ask. THere are a pleathora of things it does to the body.

I am currently on BSN nitrix. I am getting slightly bigger gains and my pumps are slightly bigger. I have been on it for about a week now and I have noticed one very important thing.........FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS PERFECTLY. The instrucktions are carefully calculated and it is very important to accuratly follow them.

michael, about the zma, as you probably know, it's purpose is to boost endogenous testosterone. it will only help you if you are deficient in the minerals that are in the product (zinc, magnesium, and vitamin b6 or 12) so, if it worked for you once, i'd go ahead and try it again.
i beleive that vegetarians are defecient in these so this might be a great product for us to take.

I've been trying BSN's NO-Explode (they have really good advertising). It's one of the nitric oxide formulas, and is definitely having some effect.

Nakeddragon and I were wondering about Tribulus. I have used Tribestan but it was very difficult to know if anything was happening. I wasn't taking as much as I should have I guess. These supps are expensive as hell so I figure I could get the effect and just stretch it out a bit.....
Thanks.

I would find it very helpful if someone could put together a chart of all the vegan multivitamins available without iron along with the daily cost along with some comments about the quantities, added ons, etc.

I could do it myself but I am too lazy.

nitric oxide is just a pump while you are on the supplement from what i experienced and when you get off it wears off after you are done supplementing i think its a waste of money unless you are only looking for a pump for a month.

No, he's not dead. I've been in touch with him a bit. I think he likes to take breaks from the online world. I miss him so I'll see if he still wants to come back and say hi sometime.

Thanks for checking in on him, he is a great source of information and inspiration. He's the only vegan I know benching over 450 pounds!
