Daywalker
There's nothing you can do. Hope you'll grow a little more, but that's it. You could try and hang from a bar every day for some minutes while having a weight strapped to your feet (this will also be great for your grip strength!).And stop doing heavy squats, they compress you too much
willpeavy
You could hang in gravity boots from an inversion bar - http://store1.yimg.com/I/comfortstore_1858_14414495
9nines
You could wear a cow costume and hang around a pasture until the farmer sticks you with growth hormones Sorry for bad joke. Edited January 17, 2006 by 9nines
neil
i've heard of people gaining an inch after a bunch of yoga practice. not sure how much a bunch means. and, this probably has a lot to do with how good your posture is beforehand. good luck. Kathryn
The rack was a medieval torture device that would lengthen people. But you probably wouldn't be interested in that. Seriously, there is no way that a person who has reached their adult height can get "taller," unless they have bad posture and improve it. Then, the added height (maybe 1 inch at most) just comes from sitting and standing straight instead of hunched over. No es posible. Some pilates systems claim that after a while, you feel taller, then look taller, then are taller, but it's all about the posture correction. All these ads promising "long, lean muscles" are just advertising to get people to buy things.
SeaSiren
If you are really serious you could contact an Endocrinologist. They could let you know if you are a candidate for hormone treatment and the possible side effects. However, I must say 5'8" doesn't seem that short, really. See Lee Priest who I believe is 5'4", and I'm not complaining :http://www.lee-priest.com/
aurovon
And stop doing heavy squats, they compress you too much I am going to take that seriously and try to find an alternate exercise
