I got up early this morning and went to the community college nearmy abd I took a careere skills test. I pulled my skills out of a list of choices, or skills I wanted or liked, and I scored high in art and entertainment.

Some of the spacific careers that were listed for me that I liked were;

*Dancer

*Model

*36 Fine artist

*36 Potter

*41 Sketch artist

*38 Costume and wardrobe specialists

*43 Professional makeup artist

*32 Tattoo artist

The first two are my favorite. And I thought the tattoo artist was kinda funny. But I would really like to do modeling.

Hey Kourtney,

When I was in high school I also did a career testing thing to see what my answers to their questions suggested I would end up doing. Modeling came up for me as well, and 7 years later, that is what I'm doing now It is not a full-time job, but I do some fitness modeling every once in a while for websites, brochures, etc.

Best of luck in your job search and keep us updated with what you decide to do.

I'm running around collecting cans and bottles as one of my many jobs. It has been a very busy week in Security for me and I look forward to my weekend.

Have a great time searching jobs and remember this,

"let yourself be silently drawn by the strong pull of what you love"

It's on a t-shirt I wear around

I took one that said I should be a locomotive engineer.

Train driver.

Still sounds interesting but I think it's probably a few years off for me. Something I'd like to do in ten years or so? Although maybe they'll all be robotically controlled then.

Sorry I somehow missed this thread.

Pursue your dream. Just be careful - a lot of places scam you into putting up a lot of money and claim to be legitimate but end up being frauds.

Yeah. I'm gonna have to learn to be careful with that kind of stuff.

I'm surprised they're not already. But I think that would be an inteesting job. I love riding on trains.

Good luck pursuing modeling!

Aww. Thanks! I hope I'm able to do it. I'll probably do that and then art as a side job/hobby. I'm thinking of going to an art school in Portland next year instead of massage tharapy (which is what I had originally planned and ho wI got in contact with robert) where one of my older sisters went to school.
