flanders77
Hey Alex! After I started my new job in November I became a little lazy. Additionally I tried going raw for some time (which caused some problems with my partner ), lost 3-4 kilos and some power. My weight is now 86kg and I am still improving my techniques at the rings and bars.I will shoot some pics the next days.I still work on cross, flag, l-seat, lever, handstand, one-legged squats, muscle-up and bw-butterflies.Of course I still do yoga.I look forward towards spring.Concerning the visit: We actually would love going to the scottish highlands and visit you and your WG, but since I want to visit the US in late summer for vegan-vacation I do not think I have enough time and money to go to scotland as well. flanders77
I just shot a few pics during my training.I stopped using the thera-tubes to reduce my bw during the execises. It is a little bit harder that way but I like it better that way because I really know exactly where I am. And actually I am a absolute beginner concerning ringtraining The pistols with additional weight are damn hard (Bigbwii, you know what I mean )I train hard as often as I can and I get better. http://two.fsphost.com/flanders/VBB/IMGP1425.jpg http://two.fsphost.com/flanders/VBB/IMGP1426.jpg http://two.fsphost.com/flanders/VBB/IMGP1427.jpg http://two.fsphost.com/flanders/VBB/IMGP1428.jpg

Gorilla
Nice one Flanders.Interesting to hear you went raw too. See my post "Gorilla reloaded" for a little bit on my experience - it was positive, though I plateaued. Reckon it's healthy to cycle diet and training routine. Time to build some size now!Have a good one,G
flanders77
Ok, I am back at it!I joined Bigbwiis contest and will post my log for this here as well. What Are Your Short Term Goals: Get better on every exercise I do and eat as raw as possible (started a raw week yesterday) What Are Your Long Term Goals: Put some raw muscles on Yesterday I ate the following:2 apples3 bananas2 hands sundried dates2 kiwis1 avocado1 hand of raw hazelnuts1 hand of sundried wineberriesA salad (broccoli, 2 bananas, olive oil, seasalt, 1 grapefruit, juice of 1/2 lemon, 1/2 chinese cabbage, 1 fennel, handfull of raw shredded flax seeds, 1/2 cucumber) This actually is what I usually eat every day, At 8.35 p.m. I went upstairs and trained about 30 minutes. After a short warm-up I did the following exercises:iron cross (supported) + chin-ups, handstand, pistols with added weight, push-ups keeping one arm straight, "roll-outs" at the rings + bw-rowing (both at the rings).I usually make 6-12 reps and 1-2 sets keeping the rests as short as possible because it is still damn cold on our attic. I feel great today and will add a training for the not-so-tired muscle-groups at 8.30 p.m. again.

flanders77
Actually I am quite sure that the detox I am in makes great gains impossible right now. But I am improving. And even if it is slow progress - it is still progress.
flanders77
My gf tainted Marla and me with a 1-day-virus which made me vomit saturday night. I was raw for 11 days. That evening a friend from New York visited us and I ate some tofu-sausages and fried potatoes. Later that evening I was "punished" for this by vomiting after visiting a friend of mine at his house. I felt really bad the next few days and had big troubles eating anything heavy. Especially my favorite fruit avocado gave me a very sick and full feeling.I was not able to train at all since saturday but today I will give it a try. flanders77
Hey folks! As you can see... http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/6329/milo07dl2.jpg ...I am still skinny (about 80kg (175 lbs)) :red: Right now it is really hard to find time for training. I really thought about training in the early morning hours but from my experience this is very tough (which I know should be another reason to do it...).My diet is still about 90% raw with lots of fruit. I feel perfect eating mostly fruit and a salat for dinner. Actually I talked long enough. Time to get into shape again. For the beginning and to get used to use my muscles again I will do one max-set of every exercise every second day for 4 weeks:1. pistols2. iron-cross (rings)3. push-ups (rings)4. dips (rings)5. rowing (rings)6. l-seats (rings)7. handstand push-ups I will post a short comment on every workout including current bw here. After new years I will probably buy myself a barbell for deadlifts, start doing 6-10 reps for 2-3 sets and split my routine. Chin-ups5. handstand push-ups6. l-seats (rings)7. rowing (rings)8. push-ups (rings) It was kind of hard to get out of bed and into training. I did some squats and other gymnastik exercises to get the morning stiffness out of my body. After the workout I felt weak but right now (9:00 a.m.) I feel really good.Morning weight was 174 lbs (79kg).

Steej
I hear ya on the lack of watermelons during the winter... I could just eat watermelons every day all day 24/7. Time to move
flanders77
@Steej: Do you always have access to watermelons? If you do I will: you. Woke up at 6 and trained the exercises above (each 1 set max) for 25 minutes. Although it was incredibly cold up there the training felt very good and I already see progresses. I did 12 pistols today - 1 week ago I was only able to do 8! All the other exercises were better, too, except the push-ups but I did these at the end of training...
