Purple Power Smoothie

Here's a recipe I came up with that I really enjoy. If you do it right, it's almost like soft-serve ice cream. You should experiment to find the combination that works best for you.

1. Peel and slice one medium to large banana and freeze overnight.

2. Pour 8 ounces of almond milk into a blender.

3. Add 2 tablespoons of hemp powder.

4. Add the frozen banana slices.

5. Add about 5 ounces of mixed berries. I like a mix of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. The berries should be really really cold or partially frozen.

6. Mix it up with a spoon.

7. Blend on low speed. You may have to start and stop a few times and stir it up with a spoon in between. With practice, it's really quick and easy.

8. Pour into a glass and drink up! Or eat it with a spoon if it's thick enough.

yea you can just toss probably about 1/4 cup of SOAKED ALMONDS and some agave and it would be the same..and raw. might want to strain it through a sprout bag or cheesecloth but if your making smoothie with alot o stuff in it your not gonna notice little chunks..
