swanson2000
Here's a recipe I came up with that I really enjoy. If you do it right, it's almost like soft-serve ice cream. You should experiment to find the combination that works best for you. 1. Peel and slice one medium to large banana and freeze overnight.2. Pour 8 ounces of almond milk into a blender.3. Add 2 tablespoons of hemp powder.4. Add the frozen banana slices.5. Add about 5 ounces of mixed berries. I like a mix of strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. The berries should be really really cold or partially frozen.6. Mix it up with a spoon.7. Blend on low speed. You may have to start and stop a few times and stir it up with a spoon in between. With practice, it's really quick and easy.8. Pour into a glass and drink up! Or eat it with a spoon if it's thick enough. -Sean
anastasia
I know this is old, but I had a question...instead of almond milk could you just toss in a cup of actual almonds? Would it taste the same? I'm not entirely sure what almond milk is or where to get it, that's the main reason I'm asking...
bpmojo
yea you can just toss probably about 1/4 cup of SOAKED ALMONDS and some agave and it would be the same..and raw. might want to strain it through a sprout bag or cheesecloth but if your making smoothie with alot o stuff in it your not gonna notice little chunks..
