Dinner:

 

Garlic potato pierogies sauteed with red onions and a large amount of kale (prob. two servings each)

Smoothie- Baby romaine (2 cups), kale (2 leaves), 1/4 serving vega, strawberries, banana, mixed berries, 1/2 tsp maca, soy milk, juice

 

Dessert-

 

A brownie, and one truffle

A few plain salted potato chips

Nachos topped with diced tomato, red onion, red pepper and salsa

Guacamole (incl. green onion and tomato)

A teeny tiny piece of chocolate truffle pie (from Sinfully Vegan)

 

D (7:00 pm)

 

Chickpeas and spinach simmered in tomato/roasted red pepper on brown rice

Smoothie- Baby romaine (2 cups), kale (2 leaves), 1/4 serving vega, strawberries, banana, mixed berries, 1/2 tsp maca, soy milk, juice

 

Dessert

 

A piece of what I am calling "Turtle Torte"- it's from Sinfully Vegan as well. It's brownie with a layer of caramel and pecans, and then encased in chocolate. It's among the top 10 best things I have ever eaten. It's 500 calories per serving, but is only 31% of calories from fat (the brownie part contains no added fat.. it's all applesauce)

only 31%? Man, I couldnt imagine going near that thing! Then again, I dont touch sugars outside of fruit.

 

Sugar is my vice, although I am fairly specific about what I will eat it in. Like, it has to be something that has other positive properties (i.e. clif bars) or tastes phenomenal (i.e. I don't snack on sugary crap, it's reserved for dessert). I am having enough trouble staying at my current weight that I can't imagine what would happen if I didn't eat any sugar!
