Richard
I can't do it captain. It's really weird to think about it, as I know my ears do move when they react to noises behind me etc, they twitch. But I don't have control over it yet. willpeavy
One time when I was a little kid I was on an elevator with an old man. He was wiggling his ears for me and I thought it was one of the funniest things I had ever seen. I used to always try to wiggle my ears too, but couldn't do it and I would just end up just moving my mouth around instead. ---I just tried contracting muscle 2 from the link you posted, and I could actually get my right ear to wiggle a little. But I mostly just ended up making weird faces. Edited November 3, 2005 by willpeavy
Michelle
Look what I can do! http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b14/purplekoala/p3.jpg For some reason, as soon as I read this post, I thought of Stuart from MadTV and couldn't stop laughing. And yes, I do realize that makes me a nerd. I tried it. I can sort of wiggle my ears. On that link you posted, I can move my ears with the muscles labeled #3 fairly well, but not at all with #1 or #2 yet.
