Hi, im curious to hear some opinions on the new hcg diet from Kevin Trudeau.

Im looking over this hcg challenge and im thinking it is a dodgy diet that you have to use injections.

What do you think, has anyone any experience with this diet?

Considering what HCG is (a hormone that is produced by the placenta of a pregnant woman), I don't know why anyone would consider using it as some sort of diet drug. Not only does it sound absurd to use as a diet aid, but good luck to most people in finding a doctor that would ever prescribe it for such a thing. Most people would have to order it from a shady overseas pharmacy, where you really don't know what you'll get, and then you'll be injecting yourself, which is probably not a fun thing for most people to do.

Mr. Trudeau has a pretty shady history and has been in hot water before for making medical claims about natural cures, which got him in trouble with the FDA here in the USA on at least one occasion. He probably has a few good things to say, but as far as the diet being a miracle cure, it's nothing that can't be acheived simply by eating well and exercising consistently. I'd say to steer clear.
