I've now been maintaining my goal weight for 5 months.
Starting Weight: 223.8 lbs

I'm a 5 11 man. I've been a vegetarian for 28 years. I've been a vegan for the last 13 years. I consider myself to have a "slow metabolism" or as I prefer an "energy efficient high survival value metabolism". I lost the weight eating a whole foods, low fat, high fiber, predominantly cooked vegan diet in conjunction with using
The Hacker's Diet.
I did not avoid any foods on my new regime. I lost the weight at a rate of about a pound a week over the course of a year while exercising. I have very little loose skin. Mostly it came down to eating the same meals I was eating and avoiding snacking of all kinds.
