I've now been maintaining my goal weight for 5 months. Starting Weight: 223.8 lbs Goal Weight: 178 lbsGoal: Maintain this weight loss for 1 year 2008 January 19th: 177.89 lbs2008 February 19th: 176.09 lbs2008 March 19th: 176.82 lbs2008 April 19th 175.63 lbs2008 May 19th 179.22 lbs2008 June 19th 177.61 lbs I'm a 5 11 man. I've been a vegetarian for 28 years. I've been a vegan for the last 13 years. I consider myself to have a "slow metabolism" or as I prefer an "energy efficient high survival value metabolism". I lost the weight eating a whole foods, low fat, high fiber, predominantly cooked vegan diet in conjunction with using The Hacker's Diet.I did not avoid any foods on my new regime. I lost the weight at a rate of about a pound a week over the course of a year while exercising. I have very little loose skin. My maintenance system is working since I've been in this spot before and would have been well on my way to gaining it all back if not for the "The Hacker's Diet". On 2009 January 19th I weighed 181.22 pounds. In other words, I more or less maintained the weight loss I wrote about in IStick A Fork In Me I'm Done for a full year.
