pazios2002
Has anyone ever done this workout. We used to call it "Run Jump and Play" but I guess it is a movement now. This is a quote from the founding father of "Crossfit": Crossfit summarizes its program in a statement of "World Class Fitness in 100 Words": "Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, clean and jerk, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports." Also not crazy about all the people that seem to be hanging on their tendons in the videos on youtube. Octopussoir
crossfit is awesome, but its not for building extreme muscle or anything. It will get you a lot stronger and help with your cardiovascular system.

veganmomma
Some Crossfitters are very strong for there BW. Jodi is close to DL 3 times her 105lbs BW. Nicole can OHS her BW 123lbs 15 times. Anthony is strong too. Watch their youtube video clips. They aren't wearing a belt or shoes in many of the videos. I'd like to try CF sometime.
